Remember to save your work often to minimize data loss in the event of a machine, system or power failure. Keep in mind that office computer hard drives are not backed up and are subject to failure. Files stored on removable media can be lost or damaged. The safest place to store files is on the college filer server. Files that are important to departmental operations or college initiatives should be saved on the college file server.
