Care Team - Submit Concerns

What to do if you are concerned about a community member:
If you are experiencing an emergency and need an immediate response, call University Police at 315-792-7111.

Submit a Care Team Report
A care team report is appropriate if your concern does not require immediate attention. Care Team reports go to the chair of the Care Team and may not be seen instantly on evenings and weekends or holidays, but will typically be reviewed within 24 hours of submission. If you have any concern that a crisis is currently occurring or is imminent, we encourage you to call University Police rather than use the report form. You can submit a report anonymously, but it many cases it is extremely helpful if we can contact you for further information or to discuss next steps. Note that your privacy is incredibly important to us and our team makes every effort possible to work discreetly with the students, faculty, staff, friends and family that provide us with concerning information about others.

Walk In
Walk in to see the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Residential Life and Community Standards Suite in the Campus Center Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If the AVP is not available, someone in the office will help you schedule the next available time or to reach her by phone.

You can also email any member of the Care Team for your campus if there is someone you feel comfortable with. Please note that the counselors that serve on the Care Teams will treat your report as confidential, unless you sign a release of information for them to share your report with the chair of the Care Team or you report a behavior that they are required by law to disclose to law enforcement.
