Machine tools are generally computer or human assisted mechanical devices used for shaping metal or other rigid materials into parts. Machine tools take away material until final shape is achieved, referred to as subtractive manufacturing.

Our shop has the four of each of the following machines:

  • Knee Mill: TRAK K3 with SMX control (top image)
    • 2-axis CNC, 3-axis DRO
    • Runs ProtoTRAK conversational language and CAM
    • Run in manual or CNC mode
  • Lathe: TRL 1630SX (bottom image)
    • Powerful but easy to learn and use 2-axis CNC, 3-axis DRO
    • Run in manual or CNC mode
    • Runs ProtoTRAK conversational language, G-code, CAM, DXF converter and Verify Machining  Simulation software
    • Indexer compatibility for high-mix
